My name is Marsha Gomes and I am a member of the Caribbean leg of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
.
I am a writer and a painter who has begun experimenting in illustrating and it looks promising. I love children’s stories and folklore, anything mysterious but still funny will capture my attention.

I work as a Public Relations Officer in the day and am also a member of ‘Woman in Art of Trinidad and Tobago.’

I have volunteered to spearhead the fundraising section of SCBWI's Trinidad and look forward to helping fellow writers fulfill their dreams and work towards publishing my first book next year.

Tracey Baptiste

I am an author living in New Jersey, USA. My debut novel, ANGEL’S GRACE was published in 2005 by Simon & Schuster. It was named “One of the One Hundred Best Books for Reading and Sharing in 2005” by the New York City Public Libraries.

I have written two biographies of children’s writers titled MADELEINE L’ENGLE (Who Wrote That?) and JERRY SPINNELLI (Who Wrote That?) which are being released in Spring 2008.

In the next year I will complete two more non-fiction titles, and I am awaiting word on the status of my second novel.
